How might we change the way we do school?
Travel with educator, and researcher Dr. Sabba Quidwai to learn how Design39 Campus, a public school in San Diego, CA challenged the traditional model of education by using a method called design thinking to answer that very question.
Hear from parents, educators, and administrators how this method gives everyone the knowledge, skills and mindsets to experience success by being able to innovate, create new products, services and business models to thrive at school, work, and as global citizens.
Premiere Highlights
It was an honor to have Learner-Centered Collaborative host the official premiere screening and panel discussion. It was an evening filled with inspiration for what's possible and dynamic conversation, leaving everyone reinvigorated about the work they are doing to design schools.
Hi! I'm Sabba
I believe cultures of innovation begin with a culture of empathy.
Over the past decade, using design thinking practices I've helped schools and businesses create a culture of innovation where everyone is empowered to move from idea to impact, to address complex challenges and discover opportunities.
Her journey took her from being a high school teacher to education executive at Apple.
In 2021 Sabba launched, "Designing Schools," and now works with organizations to design schools that give young people the mindset and skills to thrive in workplaces and as global citizens.
Sabba also hosts a weekly podcast where she interviews researchers, leaders, and young people about how they are using design thinking to navigate change.
